Kite day is were all the kids bring their kites and we all drive out to a point (st. Davids in this case) and release all of those kites into the wind in hopes that they fly. There is probable 85% failure which dashes many a child's heart. But if asked if they want to do it next year i am sure they would say yes.

trying to get the kite up..some of the parents came which was nice.
and this is what happens when your kite gets tangled or broken. You have to find your own entertainment. This crazy, sweet girl is sitting on a rock singing. It was so cute.and some more girls finding entertainment. sitting under some bushes
Nella joining those under the bushes.
Anyway the next Monday night Karla and Alesia came to visit me. Unfortunately two of their checked in bags did not make it so cloth was rather limited.
Tuesday: We went to Grand Anne's in the morning and did some shopping. When to the beach just to see it we didn't really get wet though. We went to St. Georges then and shopped some more. And then i walked them to a church in town that you cant walk up most of the bell tower.

In the evening we went to the court for v-ball with all the LaBorie and Limes youth and then afterwards we went to Options (which is a outside food court) And then ended up rushing to the airport to pick up Alesia and Karla's luggage before customs closed.Wednesday: we went to the beach and got a ride behind a boat in a inter tube (which was a blast) and got to hold another starfish and played around with the v-ball.
a beach chair, and a cruise ship in the background.
That afternoon we went up to the tennis court and played a little but ended up the taking pic of the cool place..and the cool people.
Thursday a some of us went to Mount Saint Catherine's. It is a intense hike that involves mud, clutching rocks, roots or dirt to climb up. and at one point a rope.

When we got back we had lunch at Sarah and Lorie's because they didn't hike....and Sarah volunteered to make lunch after James hinted about her making lunch.....ow we we pretty sore afterwards...and really muddy.
That evenings we were going to go out for supper with the youth here but then Alesia got sick so we stayed home. Selena was by and asked to work for food so i had her help me clean the house and then we make little pizzas and heated leftovers so we had a nice evening then even though we didn't go out.
Friday we did a lot!! It was good Friday and so as a church we went out to St. Davids point to fly kites. It was a lot of fun. My kite had something a little wacky with it so it took a long time to get it in the air and then after a while it just up and dived into the sea. But it was fun.
gluing my kite...it need glue..i don't know how many times.
sitting around cheesing after my kite was up.

Saturday: We left kinda early and through it all took a total of 9 bus rides that day!! LaBorie to Town, and then caught a bus From Town to Grenville which is a looong drive, from there we bused from Grenville to Belmont Estate..were we were going to take a tour of the coco plantation but we only fond out when we got there that they are seventh day Adventist and therefore were not open on Sat. But someone was there and said we could look around. And Then we bused back to Grenville, ate lunch and then took a bus back but stopped at Mt. Caramel Falls. Then finally we bused back into town were we did a little bit of shopping. Then went back to the bus terminal and got a bus to Grand Anses were we ate a a cute restaurant called Umbrellas which is beside the Ocean. After that we had a little shopping to do at IGA and then took a bus back to Town and then another bus from Town to LaBorie. Here some pic. of the day.

Sunday since it was Easter we had a sunrise service on Fort Jeudy point. It was very pretty! After the service we went back to church for Sunday school and, then brunch.the evolution of the sunrise.
That evening all of the LaBorie, Limes and Faith high school people went to the fort for the evening.
had fun taking pics of the moon with my new camera...would have to say it does pretty good considering its not top of the line.
The next morning Alesia,Karla and i walked up to the fort to see the sunrise and i had my quite time up there it was so nice! Even thought the sunrise wasn't the best.
The rest of the morning we had VBS and then the rest of the day we spent with the all the youth. We were touring because of the high school.
