Well good afternoon,

Its been a while (ha that is my tradition to start out that way..maybe because it it true) but it doesn't feel like much has happened though ether. Although that is about to change...  one more week of school till Easter vacation and then Alesia and Karla are coming to visit and we are having a VBS here. and we are hosting a high school over that time because they are going to help up with the VBS.

The beginning of this month Scott and Yvonne and there family came to be part of the staff team down here. We are all grateful and i think they will fit right in. :) But now here is my chance to let you all know that we still have staff needs for next year we need several guys and some girls who would be willing to teach. So if you are interested or know someone who is or would do good at teaching but need a push in the right direction..go ahead and do it. :)

This month has been busy with the norm so i won't drone on and on..a few highlights were

highlight # 1
Amanda's sister and friend came for a week and they did a LOT for us. We got pretty spoiled!! They did baking, cleaning, and face painting with our bible club kids plus a whole host of other things. Here are a few pics of the face paintings.

we let the kids do our faces then they turned out pretty interesting but these two boys did amazing. they did the butterfly on Amanda's face and it look really good!

highlight # 4

well not really a highlight but around 2:25 a.m. Wednesday morning a centipede crawled into my bed and bit my second to smallest toe on my right foot. Causing a half hour of intense pain that shot up as far as the knee and caused swelling and a odd tingling through the half of my foot and leg and pressure in my two toes that felt like the would pop from the pressure. Thus racking up my centipede bites to 3 and one attempt. The foot was almost normal the next morning and i was able to wear my school shoes but after walking to cottage meeting that evening my foot swelled double on top and the bottom. The next day i was hobbling and trying to wear a slipper on it that didn't really fit. That evening i went to the doctor to get it checked out after first going into a room to get my blood pressure checked ect. i was taken to the doctors office which was a office. nice table, plush chairs and air conditioning. The doctor never felt my foot and really only asking about how the centipedes get into my house and didn't really ask how it felt or anything. Finally he prescribed to antibiotics for the swelling and in case there was infection. Any way i talked enough about my bite so i will stop and go now. Love, Crystal
