Dear People who actually read these (or just look at the pictures),

How has life been treating you? Oh geed something sticky is on my keypad. The problems of using your laptop in the kitchen as your nook cook book. Anyway life here is going pretty good. I had a very good day today. So that was a blessing. This is the last trimester of the year and i have to admit i was not looking forward to this trimester because i felt at the end of the 2nd one that we all  (students and teacher) really just needed a longer brake then two weeks. The first week was ruff and slowwww. And that put dread in my heart as i looked ahead at the next 11 weeks. But thankfully by the next week things got back into there routine and things kept up their normal reckless rate. Which is scary sometimes because you are making memories that you will relive for the rest of your life so why rush through it right? But the honest fact right now is that just now i am starting to get just a little homesick. I'm ready to have a break from school, get of this tiny island and see friends and family. That makes me sound ungrateful. So i will share some blessings or things that i enjoyed..
1. great day free of stress (almost), good kids
2.  had a swing ride again, its been who knows how long :)
3.I (ho ho actually totally a God thing) had great inspiration on keeping things moving and interesting in school (now just need to keep it up)
4. healthy
5. clean sheets
well i'll stop there...

Anyway lets see what do i need to update you all on? (look back on last blog)
ahh yes right before school started. friends and VBS and stuffmubobsters..
Well ya not much to say that hasn't been said already. Amanda and Natalie's brothers came to visit for a week. The 14th of April i turned old. And felt like a celebrity at school with all the kids coming us to me and wishing me a happy birthday or giving me a card or some other creation. And i got several visits from the 5th grade girls who acted all shy about it. Then for teachers meeting i got a giant cinnamon roll birthday cake and lots of ice coffee. So it was a great day. And now this Wednesday they are taking me out to eat probably. Foe a staff meeting we went to Morne Gazo. Had a fun evening with all the great LaBorie staff. Which i'm going to add as # 6
6. a great staff team!
Well anyway maybe a few pics and then i will go for now.

first a few prayer request...
1. A young teen guy here who is really searching right now. I lent his  a book (palace beautiful) and it really got him thinking. He came by and asked if i had another book like that. He said he felt like the book was talking about him. How sin can make you feel good and stuff. And he told me he is going to believe in God no matter what. I don't know if he has made a commitment yet but i know he has come close or to this place before but its a really big step for him. So pray he will totally give up all to follow Christ. I gave him another book but i haven't hear if he read it or if it was kind of a in the moment thing earlier. But i believe in the power of prayer.
2. A younger mother of two children. Her boy would be in our school in 1st grade. She use to come to church regularly when she was younger but stopped. She is now suffering panic attacks. She has come back to church just recently because of this and is praying. She wants her children to grow up in the church also. She has been doing better with her attacks this past week but pray she will not get comfortable with her life again and quit coming to church and praying. And pray that her spiritual walk with God would grow.
3. staff needs we REALLY need guy and girl teachers down here.
4. the current staff. for grace, patience, love and more love, wisdom, understanding, unity, passion to actively show and speak about God. And our personal walks with Him that they will be strong.

well i will stop there or you may get overwhelmed or something. :p

a place we took the brothers to and Amanda found a hermit crab and took it home as a pet. but this is me in the bottom pic.

Good morning it occurred to me that i should write another updates. And since my friends are here it would be nice for  me if i wrote some on what we are doing. But first there was another highlight of school...which was the last day of school for this trimester. Kite Day!!

Kite day is were all the kids bring their kites and we all drive out to a point (st. Davids in this case) and release all of those kites into the wind in hopes that they fly. There is probable 85% failure which dashes many a child's heart. But if asked if they want to do it next year i am sure they would say yes.

David obviously enjoying flying the kite.
              kite flying
Leadon he is such a cutie......love this boy
trying to get the kite up..some of the parents came which was nice.
and this is what happens when your kite gets tangled or broken. You have to find your own entertainment. This crazy, sweet girl is sitting on a rock singing. It was so cute.
and some more girls finding entertainment. sitting under some bushes
Nella joining those under the bushes.

Anyway the next Monday night Karla and Alesia came to visit me. Unfortunately two of their checked in bags did not make it so cloth was rather limited.
Tuesday: We went to Grand Anne's in the morning and did some shopping. When to the beach just to see it we didn't really get wet though. We went to St. Georges then and shopped some more. And then i walked them to a church in town that you cant walk up most of the bell tower.

buying a kite in town for kite day. The guy was threading the compass and the tail line.
In the evening we went to the court for v-ball with all the LaBorie and Limes youth and then afterwards we went to Options (which is a outside food court) And then ended up rushing to the airport to pick up Alesia and Karla's luggage before customs closed.

Wednesday: we went to the beach and got a ride behind a boat in a inter tube (which was a blast) and got to hold another starfish and played around with the v-ball.
a beach chair, and a cruise ship in the background.

That afternoon we went up to the tennis court and played a little but ended up the taking pic of the cool place..and the cool people.

That evening was prayer meeting but i had children's church

Thursday a some of us went to Mount Saint Catherine's. It is a intense hike that involves mud, clutching rocks, roots or dirt to climb up. and at one point a rope.
a view from 3/4 the way up!
 and another one
Alesia.."we can do this" (the words we kept telling each others)

the first range is were we climbed to and this pic. is about half way up already.
When we got back we had lunch at Sarah and Lorie's because they didn't hike....and Sarah volunteered to make lunch after James hinted about her making lunch.....ow we we pretty sore afterwards...and really muddy.

That evenings we were going to go out for supper with the youth here but then Alesia got sick so we stayed home. Selena was by and asked to work for food so i had her help me clean the house and  then we make little pizzas and heated leftovers so we had a nice evening then even though we didn't go out.

Friday we did a lot!! It was good Friday and so as a church we went out to St. Davids point to fly kites. It was a lot of fun. My kite had something a little wacky with it so it took a long time to get it in the air and then after a while it just up and dived into the sea. But it was fun.
gluing my kite...it need glue..i don't know how many times.

sitting around cheesing after my kite was up.
Shane showing us some tricks about getting a kite to go higher. the rest are Keona in the yellow shirt, and Rebekah

That evening Amanda made a Grenadian meal of macaroni pie and nutmeg chicken.

Saturday: We left kinda early and through it all took a total of 9 bus rides that day!! LaBorie to Town, and then caught a bus From Town to Grenville which is a looong drive, from there we bused from Grenville to Belmont Estate..were we were going to take a tour of the coco plantation but we only fond out when we got there that they are seventh day Adventist and therefore were not open on Sat. But someone was there and said we could look around. And Then we bused back to Grenville, ate lunch and then took a bus back but stopped at Mt. Caramel Falls. Then finally we bused back into town were we did a little bit of shopping. Then went back to the bus terminal and got a bus to Grand Anses were we ate a a cute restaurant called Umbrellas which is beside the Ocean. After that we had a little shopping to do at IGA and then took a bus back to Town and then another bus from Town to LaBorie. Here some pic. of the day.

That evening the Senior class of Faith high school came down to help us with VBS starting Monday.

Sunday since it was Easter we had a sunrise service on Fort Jeudy point. It was very pretty! After the service we went back to church for Sunday school and, then brunch.the evolution of the sunrise.

That evening all of the LaBorie, Limes and Faith high school people went to the fort for the evening.

had fun taking pics of the moon with my new camera...would have to say it does pretty good considering its not top of the line.

The next morning Alesia,Karla and i walked up to the fort to see the sunrise and i had my quite time up there it was so nice! Even thought the sunrise wasn't the best.

The rest of the morning we had VBS and then the rest of the day we spent with the all the youth. We were touring because of the high school.
someone got a new camera :P

we went to a lake to eat lunch but there was already people there so we just stop by the road were there was a nice wall to sit on that was beside the sea.
