Dear Family and Friends,

Yawn, well right now were are having a normal downpour of rain mixed with a unusual crashing of loud thunder. So my nap was kinda of abandoned and writing of an update picked up in earnest. (last night i was going to but then i told my self that i would do it tomorrow even though it was going to be a busy day. (which didn't turn out as busy because of the rain))

So fist day, first week of school down! Finished! And how do i feel? Wellll... I think this year is going to be a lot different. My kids are not as fast of learners but they will work had and get a lot done if you want them to and if you are willing to be right there to help them some...Working on independent working is something they should prolly be thought this year. As far a behavior they are pretty good Miss Lori did a really good job last year and now its paying of.

It is a little ... OK pretty hard to see "my" kids go into 3rd grade this year. Lot harder then i thought. But I also am exited to get to know this new set of kids. And i can already see that we will have a fun year. But after investing yourself into one set of kids for a year its hard to see them move on. I new i was attached before because i would hear myself talking about them all the time...kinda like a mother likes to talk and brag about her kids. But coming back this year i saw i was more attached then i though. OK enough of that thought train though. :)

Monday we went early to school to pray so that we could spend the last half before school greeting the kids back to school and be all shocked at how much they grew or matured. It was also just a half day so that was really nice.

Tuesday we jumped in full force and got a lot of work done. And then after school we went down to Hopedale to our (Amanda and I) kids club. That night we as teachers went out for supper at True Blue prolly one of our favorite places. It was as pretty as ever and there was a steal band there towards the end.

Wednesday we was norm it was a lot of just the teacher getting use to the new kids and the kids getting use to the new teacher. That evening then we had prayer meeting at the church. And that evening Chris and Katrina and family came back from a visit in the states!!
Thursday we had hot lunch. That day the kids were kind of testing me out and a lot of them did not get stickers which had me scared for Friday. That evening we went to Welding who are in the Limes for a few months till the second pastor for that area comes down. The Welding use to live in Grenada but they would have been use to living in LaBorie. It was a fun evening getting to know the new teachers in Limes and connecting with the old ones. Lot of laughing a talking. :)

Friday went so much better that i anticipated! I was so blessed and relieved. We also had games
class so that was fun. That evening we went to Chris and Katrina's for supper. And then later on I had girls club at our place. We went through a bible study ate popcorn w/ cheese sticks and juice then played some rowdy games of uno or dominoes and then sent them all out the door around 8.
Saturday we all met at the beach including Katrina and Yvonne who had Shawn along as well.
After that Amanda, Natalie and I went to IGA for groceries and then bused back up to LaBorie. Were i then got the house cleaning done before going up to the fort with the teachers with food from Nate's and some singing in the cave before heading back to our place To sit around and talk.

Today, Sunday was very nice. I love to meet with the people here to have church. This afternoon
we were going to go somewhere and pass out tracks and invitations for a crusade that we are having there on Wednesday night. But then as you have already hear it rained and pored so it was cancelled. At six then we are going to church to have game night with everyone. So i am exited about that. Maybe i can get some pictures tonight to put on here. Anyway i will put on some pictures and then go. Have a lovely week. And don't forget to pray for the work down here.
